Love to Dream Swaddle UP 50/50
Love to Dream Swaddle Up 50/50: Helping Your Baby with the Transition from Swaddle to Sleeping Bag
Since 2008, Love to Dream has provided simple but genius innovations to proffer solutions to everyday parenting and baby needs. The good news is they work!
Wrapping and swaddling babies help them to settle and rest better. Once your baby is sleeping happily in a swaddle, there is a crucial stage (usually around three to five months of age) where babies grow fast and start the transition from being swaddled to sleeping with their arms free. It is sometimes a challenging stage for parents as your baby may still have startle reflexes and not be entirely used to their new freedom.
Designed to help parents and babies with this transition is The Love to Dream Swaddle UP 50/50.
What is The Love to Dream Swaddle UP 50/50?
This great swaddle, from the maker of the world-famous Swaddle UP, is the second stage in The Love to Dream sleep system. It helps babies adjust to sleeping with their arms not swaddled with its patented easy zip-off wings, one natural step at a time.
Distinguishing Features of the Swaddle UP 50/50 include:
Easy zip-off wings Tangle-free design with no loose fabric "Swaddle UP" turns into a soothing sleep bag Less disturbance to your baby's sleep routine
The top half of the Swaddle UP 50/50 is the same as the Swaddle UP ORIGINAL, but the bottom half is slightly wider, which helps the baby get accustomed to not being so snugly wrapped. It also makes it an excellent choice for children with hip issues or a cast.
How to use The Love To Dream Swaddle UP 50/50
Your baby can get transited in the easy-to-follow three steps:
Use your Swaddle UP 50/50 just like the Love to Swaddle UP ORIGINAL (2 wings attached). When your baby is ready to transition, you will remove one wing, leaving one arm free with the other still swaddled. After about three weeks, let the other arm loose. To do this, just remove the second wing, and you have successfully graduated your baby to a soft sleeping bag suited for the summer.
Why the Swaddle UP 50/50 is safer than a normal swaddle?
Most parents often make use of the conventional wrap to help their little ones transition by leaving one arm out after the other. The dangers inherent in using such methods include tangling, suffocation, and choking of the child. Providing the parent with the right size of Swaddle UP reduces such risks.
It is important that the right size gets purchased for your baby. If the wrap is too big, the result is inefficiency. If it is loose-fitted, it poses a danger to the child's safety as it can stretch to cover the baby's face.
Love to Dream Swaddle UP 50/50 sizes include:
    • Medium: Designed for babies 6-8kg; measures approximately 70cm
    • Large: Designed for babies 8-11kg; measures 78cm
    • Extra large: Designed for babies 11-14kg; measures 85cm

The length is measured from the shoulder where the arm zips on, down to the bottom hem.
